Müdigkeits- gesellschaft
In my theoretical work, I explored the essay Burnout Society by Byung-Chul Han. In this text, the author is critical of meritocracy and the meritocratic subject, who always remains in a state of self-exploitation and fatigue. The accelerated, expanding society directly affects the individual. The work identifies and analyses one aspect in the book that has not been sufficiently addressed in research to date: the concept of self-exhaustion and the origins as well as the harms of this condition. The state of the individual in society is also examined and linked to theories of other philosophical and sociological theorists.

The Diplom project focuses on the concept of interaction and the relationship between the individual and their environment. For this I have employed various input devices that encourage the audience to actively take part in the collaboration and challenge them to reflect on their role in the creative process. The Diplom work is also a reflexion on the effects that tools have on thinking and the creative process. To aid the interaction with different input devices, I have categorised visual elements into colours, backgrounds, images, graphics, texts and effects.
